Best albums of 1989?
|
obviously not a year we remember fondly for events on and off the pitch. I saw this on the BBC website. Apart from the Real Thing by Faith No More, I have to say I disagree with the selection. No mention of Seasons End by Marillion for one thing. https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/1prqk6JLsFGqz8nTlbj2JfX/9-classic-albums-that-define-1989 .

Lee Trundle Going by what you said, maybe you should consider posting on the 'what are you listening to now?' thread, as I'd be genuinely interested in what you may post in there. And maybe that would lead to me discovering something new to me.

With the notable exception of Tom Petty's Full Moon Fever I can't believe how awful you cunt's musical tastes are.

Yeah you're right fella. Fucked up with ASIH as well. Thought I remembered seeing Verve support the Pumpkins in the late 80's.

It concerns me how much alike our musical tastes are, dm, because I thought mine was fairly unique.

BigDingus sounds like you're probably a bigger Tull fan than I am. I'm sorry to say that they are one of those bands that I liked the famous songs, eg Living in the Past, Witches Promise, Thick as a Brick etc, But when I checked out their albums, I didn't like them as much as I anticipated. The exceptions being Crest of a Knave and Heavy Horses
